Our faculty students will be able to do their optional internship applications between 17.07.2023-25.08.2023.
Optional internship principles;
- The internship period is 30 working days. Students can do an optional internship once during the four (4) years of education.
- In order to apply for an optional internship, the student's Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) must be at least 2.50 .
- Optional internship is done after the fourth (4th) semester or at the end of the sixth (6th) semester during the summer periods, without extending to the fall semester.
- Internships cannot be done on days declared as official holidays and during periods when education continues.
- In case of summer school, students who are definitively registered for summer school cannot do an optional internship during the summer school period.
- Optional internship is not counted as part of the course load and is not a requirement for graduation.
- Students who successfully complete the specified internship period are given an internship completion certificate.
- Students cannot change the internship dates and the place of internship without the approval of the department internship commission. Changes must be approved by the department internship commission at least fifteen (15) working days before the start date of the internship. Students are responsible for the consequences of changes made without the approval of the department internship commission.
Students who want to do an optional internship must read the directive and apply to the Department Secretariat by filling out the "Optional Internship Application Form" by 19.05.2023.
