Trainings on “Combating Addiction” and “Strengthening the Mental Health of Young People” have been conducted

MAKÜ Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Health Management department for students on October 19, 2023, at 16:00 in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Conference Hall, trainings on “Combating Addiction” and “Strengthening the Mental Health of Young People” were held. Within the scope of the Combating Addiction Training, which was given on addiction, one of the biggest problems of today and starting to become widespread among the ages of 15-25, young people were informed about what Tobacco, Technology, and Drug Addiction are, how addiction processes develop, their causes and consequences, and the institutions and organizations they can apply to by Social Service Specialist Ayşe CAN, who works at the Provincial Health Directorate. In order to prevent the increase in psychological disorders due to various factors recently, the talk titled “Take Good Care of Myself” for the protection of university students' mental health and increasing their psychological resilience was conducted by Psychologist Burak ÜSTÜN, who works at the Provincial Health Directorate.
